“Small Beginnings”

The first electric light was so dim that a candle was needed to see its socket. One of the first steamboats took 32 hours to chug its way from New York to Albany, a distance of 150 miles. Wilbur and Orville Wright’s first airplane flight lasted only 12 seconds. The first automobiles traveled 2 to 4 miles per hour and broke down often. Carriages would pass them with their passengers shouting, “Get a horse!”

We often despise or shrug off small beginnings but the Lord does not.  We cannot see what just one decision for Christ will do to our family, our church and our world.  Dear church member, when one child or adult comes to faith in Christ it not only changes the person but it changes the world.  One seed of heaven is planted and it grows into a great plant that puts off heavenly seeds for generations to come.   Keep sowing dear church, keep praying, keep obeying, keep serving and watch the world change for the glory of Christ!
