I will give thanks to Yahweh with all my heart; I will recount all Your wondrous deeds.
I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
Showing gratitude to God is recognizing that He is worthy of praise and thanksgiving with all our hearts. We cannot give Him only half our heart in praise. Having gratitude toward God is not neglecting to tell of all His wondrous deeds. As we remember and tell the amazing things God has done, it is a beautiful way to praise Him and be grateful to God. As Christians, we get to show off the amazing things of who God is and make His name great, not our own. We show gratitude towards God by expressing all our gladness and joy in God alone. We do not find anything outside of God that is worth being grateful for. Lastly, we praise God wholeheartedly by singing praise to His Name, recognizing Him as Most High God.
