JESUS

There is no other name like JESUS!  Think about the songs we sing about the name of Jesus, “There is a name I love to hear. I love to sing its worth. It sounds like music in my ear; the sweetest name on earth.”  “Take the name of Jesus with you”. “Lord, I lift your Name on High”. “Precious Name, oh how Sweet”. “Jesus, Name above all Names”. “His Name is Wonderful”. “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, There’s just something about that Name”.  The name of Jesus – the name every knee will bow to and every tongue confess that He is Lord to the glory of God the Father! 

Act 4:12  “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

a. IT IS AN EXCLUSIVE SALVATION—-“neither”

It is the only one that can save.  It permits no other competition. There are no gods but ONE GOD. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

b. IT IS AN INCLUSIVE SALVATION.

It is all you need, if you are saved by Jesus, it is not an addition to your life package but your life hope.

Dear church, do you know why there’s no other name? Because there’s no other name! 

I do not know who you have been with lately, but I do know this, that if you have been with Jesus this last week it is clear to others around you.  You are truly blest if you have trusted Jesus and Jesus alone for your salvation.  If you have not at the end of the service, why don’t you give our life to Jesus while He is calling you!  Pastor Mark
